Let’s be honest this is a very big question; and by big I mean challenging. We all know that there’s something stopping us from our dreams. It could be fear, or the opinions of others, maybe even self-doubt, but it’s something. It’s different things for different people but whatever yours is…its just right for you! I know. I know. Sounds a bit depressing but it’s a fact of life. There is something specifically designed to make you have reservations about what you want to accomplish. Who was it that said you couldn’t accomplish your dreams? Or what happened that made you believe that you couldn’t have your dreams? Did you see others fail at building their dreams? Do you feel inadequate, as if your dream shouldn’t belong to you but to someone more apt to accomplish it? We have to ask ourselves these things because if not we can live our whole lives based upon a lie.

So let’s just clear the air.

There is no one on this planet who can tell you that you cannot accomplish your dreams. You want to know why? Because no one on this planet can tell you your future. In fact you are still actively creating the future whether you know it or not and since it is currently being created no one besides God would have the ability to tell you what you can and cannot do. Feelings of inadequacy can be overcome with self-love and education. The failure of others is a platform from which we can learn. It does not mean that if we’re attempting the same feat that we also will fail. We have a host of predecessors who have gone before us to teach us lessons from their lives and we can use those to sharpen our approach. So now that we’ve clear the air, you must realize what’s really stopping you from your dreams is Y-O-U. And that’s a good thing because since it is you, you can stop. You can change. You can allow yourself to be the dreamer you are and accomplish the goals you set out to achieve. Stop holding yourself back. Allow yourself to dream in spite of fear, disappointment, embarrassment, judgment, and most of all in spite of you.

So now, what’s stopping you from your dreams? Nothing, but you!
