WEB DESIGN INFO & FACTS
So you’re interested in a one-page website. Here’s a few key points:
- Websites take 6-8 weeks to build. Depends on how long it takes you to get us the content for your site (info, text, pics, etc)
- You’ll need a domain (i.e., www.yoursite.com) If you don’t have one yet, no worries we can still start building the site, but before we go live you’ll need to purchase one.
- For your domain, we recommend www.ionos.com. If you have another registrar like GoDaddy, Bluhost, etc. That’s perfectly fine too.
- Your site will be built using WordPress. Its the industry standard nowadays.
- You will have full control over your domain and website once its launched
- We build your site on our own cyberspace to give you time to review and make changes if necessary. Once you approve the site, we transfer the entire site to you and keep a copy just in case you need in the future.
- Before transferring the site you’ll need hosting. This is basically ” a place to house your site on the web”. We’ll walk you through it.
- After completing payment, you will receive an email that contains a link to our order form.
- You’ll need to complete the form and tell us all the detail about your design. You can upload pics and enter the info you want included.
